California Department of Education (CDE)- The California Department of Education is an agency within the government of California that oversees public education

• California Autism Professional Training and Information Network (CAPTAIN)-  is a cross agency network developed to support the understanding and use of evidence based practices (EBPs) for individuals affected by Autism across the state of California.

Child Find is a component of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) that requires districts to identify, locate, and evaluate all children with disabilities, ages birth to 21, who are in need of early intervention or special education services.

Golden Gate Regional Center - The Golden Gate Regional Centers provide a wide array of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Each center provides diagnosis and assessment of eligibility, and helps plan, access, coordinate and monitor services and supports.

• High Quality - The High Quality IEPs Project (HQ IEPs) is excited to serve families and Local Education Agencies (LEAs) across California by providing training and resources to support meaningful engagement in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. 

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (PL 108-446) was passed by Congress and signed into law by the President in December 2004. Since the enactment of the original legislation in 1975, children and youth (ages 3-22) receive special education and related services under Part B of IDEA. Part B is so named because it’s the second part of the law itself. Infants and toddlers (0-2) receive special education and related services under Part C of IDEA. Its four parts are:

• Part A – General Provisions
• Part B – Assistance for Education of All Children with Disabilities
• Part C – Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities
• Part D – National Activities to Improve Education of Children with Disabilities

Marin Center for Independent Living- Marin CIL is a member of the California Collaborative for Long-Term Services and Supports (CCLTSS), which advocates for the dignity, health, and independence of Californians who need long-term services and supports

Marin Health and Human Services - Provides  Health and Wellness support to the county of Marin

Matrix Parent Network -Matrix provides both direct and technical services to families in the area of Special Education

North Bay Regional Center - provide a wide array of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Each center provides diagnosis and assessment of eligibility, and helps plan, access, coordinate and monitor services and supports.

• Parents Helping Parents -Assists families with issues around autism, adhd and learning differences, chronic illness, mental health challenges, developmental or intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and more.

Technology Resource Center- The Technology Resource Center of Marin is a program of the Marin County Office of Education. Since 2001 we have served special education students in Marin, and have become an internationally acclaimed model for delivering the AT/AAC services our students need for living and learning.
